This Women’s Empowerment Autonomy/Heteronomy campaign for Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto features the work of photographer Rowland Kirishima and fifty exceptional women in Japan over the course of two years. Rosanne collaborated to create the campaign logo and conceptual background art featured in each portrait. Interviews were conducted to help understand how to best represent and create a unique image for each individual in the campaign through the lens of female empowerment.

The House of Suntory Whisky Launch at the Japanese Ambassador’s residence in Paris. Brand development and experiential design. Conceptualized and designed all aspects of the journey of the making of Suntory whiskies and brought them to life by creating a welcome reception, garden tasting room and seated dinner for Parisian influencers. Worked with Chef Daniel Rose of Le Coucou NYC and La Bourse et La Vie Paris and Thierry Hernandez, Beverage Director of the Plaza Athénée in Paris, to create the ultimate fine whisky tasting experience.

Worked closely with founder Kenta Goto to design of the logo for Bar Goto.

Suntory Whisky | Yamazaki Mizunara Launch in New York City.
Brand development and experiential design. Mizunara is a Japanese Oak and is the wood used for the casks that age this limited edition whisky. These trees grow to 30 metres or 100 ft tall. To create this experience, Rosanne conceptualized an animated video of a Mizunara tree that grew as guests exited the introduction to the tasting seminar by way of a Japanese house, and entered the second part of their journey — watching the tree grow and blossom before them while experiencing the flavor of the whisky blossom as well. The third part of the experience was to enjoy the whisky with specially prepared seasonal bento boxes.

Created Sweet Chemistry’s creative direction for its brand identity, packaging and social media marketing for the world’s first regenerative skin care using Matrikynes® regenerative bone peptides technology, and using the world’s first airless glass bottle.

Brand development, experiential creative direction and design of the Hibiki Japanese Harmony whisky launch at the New Museum in New York City. Worked with Chef Isao Yamada and Chef David Bouley to craft a truly unique tasting experience.

There are some projects that come along once in a lifetime that make you feel lucky to do your job.

For many, their first encounter with a Toyota 86 vehicle was through the eyes of Takumi Fujiwara taking on the mountain passes of Japan. Our audience grew up with this, so there was truly no better conduit to introduce the all-new 2022 GR86. My creative team and I are fans of the original series, and the minute we knew we were working on a launch of the all-new 2022 GR86, we were excited to create a story that honored this heritage and legacy through the lens of its origins.

Our Director, Annis Naeem is also a huge fan of Initial D, and we knew immediately that he was the perfect person to help us respect and honor the artistic tradition and legacy established by its creator, while breathing new life into the all-new GR86. Shuichi Shigeno, Initial D series creator, gave us his blessing on our spots with no changes. Extraordinary!

Worked on the creative direction and brand development for the launch of Suntory Whisky Toki. Helped to conceive the product and name knowing there was a gap in the market for a Japanese whisky that was an entry level product, and was made specifically for use to be mixed in cocktails. This was a global launch, and the first of its kind from Japanese whisky artisans. Helped develop the key visuals, copywriting, along with experiential creative direction. The “yatai” or Japanese drink cart experience became a sensation for events from Pebble Beach Food & Wine to Art Basel.

This gallery represents multiple events for The House of Suntory Whisky at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris including an outdoor Matsuri festival for Nuit Blanche. Rosanne was responsible for all aspects of its concept, design and production.

Created the branding for this bar & brunch speakeasy with a certain French ‘je ne sais quoi’ in Seoul, Korea.

Working with my favorite partner in crime, Michael Jovanovski, we decorated the sets for this heartfelt musical series for NBC. Special thanks to the production design of the incomparable Rusty Smith and Austin Winsberg for creating the show.

Designed the brand identity for several of The Bowery Group’s restaurants in New York including Rosie’s and Vic’s. As part of the brand behavior, the ethos is to create a warm shared experience throughout all of their brands.

The all-new Toyota Sienna was designed for those with adventurous and active lifestyles who use the vehicle for all the facets of their daily lives, including work and play. In hopes to speak to new audiences beyond just minivan lovers, Intertrend collaborated with Tan France to create Toyota Sienna | Makeovers with Tan, a five-episode web series posted on France’s YouTube channel. In each episode, one essential worker is whisked away in an all-new Toyota Sienna, which Tan expertly showcases as he readies his studio. Providing his extra special TLC (Tan's Loving Care), he treats each deserving recipient to new wardrobe items and helps them express the best versions of themselves.
