Rosanne Kang Jovanovski is a multidisciplinary creative in branding, experiential & graphic design, illustration, and writing.

Born in Canada, Rosanne graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York, and started her career in the ’90s. She began working in interior design at Naomi Leff and Associates, on residential projects with Gwathmey Seigel for Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and boutiques such as Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren. She went on to create a Promotion Art Department at Hachette Filipacchi Media’s Elle Decor.

In the aughts she formed a design and illustration studio in New York City, and has since consulted for numerous agencies in global branding, pr and advertising such as Hakuhodo Global, Kyu, Edelman, Ketchum, and FCB; specializing in beauty, spirits, and hospitality with clients such as The House of Suntory – Yamazaki, Hibiki, Hakushu, Toki, Haku, Roku, and L’Oréal USA – Kiehl's, Redken, Shu Uemura, L’Oréal Professionnel.

Rosanne has worked in the art department of film and television shows in set decoration for the NBC/Lionsgate series Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, and as an Art Director on the Redrum Films’ feature Two/One by Juan Cabral, along with the award winning Ithentic/CBC short form series Save Me, written and directed by Fab Filippo.

As the Executive Creative Director at Intertrend, Rosanne served clients such as Toyota, Chase, and Vitasoy, by sharing authentic Asian stories and experiences in all aspects of her work, particularly in writing and creating commercials targeted to the Asian American community. She also helped found “Make Noise Today,” a platform initiative to combat Asian American racism through storytelling, empathy and awareness.

In September 2020, Rosanne published her first book Totes Paris, a Parisian guide to culture, language, travel, which includes activities for kids of all ages. This love letter to her late shiba inu, Totoro (a.k.a. Totes), honors their many adventures. 🐾

Since then, Rosanne has been experimenting in film as a writer, director and producer. She produced the award winning short film Oll Korrect, written and directed by Antonin Féraud, and directed/produced music videos: Kiss Myself, written/performed by Aylah Jovanovski, and Home, written/performed by Laïka and the Unit.

She currently resides between Los Angeles and Toronto with her husband Michael and their fur baby Lola.(@lolalefteye).
